Booking Process

Kindly note that Walk with Nia provides exclusive services as intake is based on compatibility established during the free "Meet and Greet" precursor to accessing pet care. Accordingly, public booking is not available.

Please refer to the section below for information on what the intake process entails and description of services.

 

Meet & Greet (1 hour)

Pricing: Free of cost

Note: Completion of "Meet & Greet" does not guarantee access to services. Intake is based on mutually agreed compatibility.

 

Available on weekends or by appointment only. Please book by following this link to our Google Calendar. You are welcome to request references at this time to assist you with deciding whether or not you would like to book a "Meet & Greet." 

 

This session will help both parties determine if the company is the right fit for them. In order to do so, the client will review a mandatory PowerPoint featuring a company overview and policies. The pup must be present for the session in order for observation of their general personality characteristics while in-home, physical and mental limitations (if any) and also walking behaviorisms during a mini walk (10-15 minutes or less). 

 

We will collaboratively develop a custom walking route, drop-in and/or pet sitting experience tailored to the pup's needs, behavior and interests. This collaborative process best ensures a safe and positive interaction with the assigned pet care professional. Basic information will be recorded in a digital log for reference (client's contact info and address, pup's birthday, breed and name, etc.). Pictures, cellular screenshots or videos may be taken for reference to ensure adherence to client's desires (such as location of leash, special food preparation, medication administration, etc.) 

 

You will receive an e-mail within 48 hours of your "Meet and Greet" to inform you if you have been accepted for pup care with Walk with Nia.  

Each client will either be accepted or referred to at least one highly recommended external private pet care professional.

 

Cancellation Policy:

You may reschedule or cancel a meet and greet or intake meeting twice with 24 hours or more notice. Kindly e-mail nia@walkwithnia.com or call (332) 200-9356 should you need to do so. If you propose a third booking for these services, we will not be able to accommodate your requisition.

Meet and Greet
Private Walk

 

Private Dog Walk 

Pricing: $35 for 30 minutes. $60 for 1 hour.

Longer walks: (individually quoted based on length.)

Our flagship service: Your small or medium sized dog will be walked with careful adherence to the customized route and general experience which was developed during the intake process.  Please note that ONLY private walks are performed (also referred to as a "solo walk"). This means we do not walk more than one dog at the time. If you have more than one dog, you may split a session equally between them (for example, 30 minutes each of an hour long walk for two dogs.) You may also book full-time sessions for each pup (for example, an hour long walk for each dog). Complimentary treats from Trader Joe's or Whole Foods will be provided. The retailer is chosen at the client's discretion.

Cancellation Policy:

You may reschedule or cancel private walks three times per month with

24 hours or more notice. Kindly e-mail nia@walkwithnia.com or call (332) 200-9356 should you need to do so. If you request a fourth cancellation or rescheduling, this requisition will not be accommodated. Consistent rescheduling and cancellations may result in the denial of services altogether.

 

Private Drop-In 

Pricing: determined by length and experience desired.

You may book in 30 minute and 1 hour increments. Pricing is variable as bookings are completely customizable and also based on length of stay. Complimentary treats from Trader Joe's or Whole Foods will be provided.

Kindly note that we provide private in-home sitting experiences only. This means we do not sit pups that are belong to different households. You may book in 4 hour increments including overnight. Pricing is variable as bookings are completely customizable and also based on length of stay. Complimentary treats from Trader Joe's or Whole Foods will be provided. If you book for 24 hours or more, your dog will receive a free bath and relaxing massage at your discretion. Additionally, your pup will be provided with one complimentary meal from Whole Foods or Trader Joe's (with ingredients and store chosen by client.)
